What three things would you consider it takes to create the ideal teacher prep program?
1. Require that field experiences and student teaching cover a wide range of ages, grades, developmental ability, rural and urban areas, etc.
2. Require all Education majors to take at least one Special Education course
3. Require that a topic is chosen to be an advocate for and have a mentor assigned to take you through the steps from beginning to end on how to go about being an advocate for your cause in education.
